Results
The surveys for the data collection let us know what they needed help with most and areas where they didn't need as much help in. The surveys were done before the presentation so it showed us what they knew and what they didn't know. Turned out though that 50 percent of the students had no idea what gardening was and some kids couldn't explain it in words. If you look closer you will also see that only a handful of students seemed confident enough on what to do.
The second part of my data collection involved seeing how fast the plants grew and how many centimeters it grew after a certain amount of time. This was done to see which plants grew the fastest and which grew the slowest. The results for the fastest growing plant was lettuce and the slowest growing plant was bell peppers.
